Introducing...

Welcome to the journey that was Prom 2008. Hopefully, I can provide some entertainment (along with photos) from the night/morning.

After taking a few quick shots at my house, I head over to Megan's. Apparently there was some sort of party going on at her neighbor's house (something about adopted children), so I got to meet her entire street.

We then headed over to the municipal building for some nice group shots and met up with Carly and Austin (who need to friend me on facebook):

Jon and Andrea got to gaze into each others' eyes:

We got a head start on the music:

Important safety tip, don't dye your hair a primary color to match your date's dress.

Then the kids got sneaky and turned it around on the parents:

Now it's time for the dance!

The Dance, 1

After a lovely dinner at The 4th Street Chophouse, it was time to head off to

NYC! (Notice the unpaid model?)

We immediately decided that there was not enough dancing going on...

... so we got in there and busted multiple moves. Luckily enough, there was a conveniently located

break dancer to help us out.

But then Megan and I decided that we wanted pictures (this was also when the DJ thought it would be a good idea to play the Jonas Brothers.) There were all sorts of friendly people to be seen

and even one of the friendly chaperons, that were supposed to keep the C2H5OH out (not sure how well they did)
.

But then, it was back to the dance...
